"The goal of the Johns Hopkins Biliary Cancer Group is to use genetic analysis to identify factors, which make biliary cancer cells grow. This should allow for the development of targeted, non-toxic but highly effective therapies. In addition, detection of genetic abnormalities in biliary cancers can be used to develop novel screening methods (for example, a blood test) to detect these cancers when they are curable." ~ Dr. Pedram Argoni, Pathologist, Johns Hopkins
